Getting There ...
On our way back from the Edwards
AFB Airshow, we entered the Yosemite National Park from its
south entrance to have a short half-day exploration of our
favorite place.
- Mariposa Grove
After a quick picnic at the parking area, we hiked to
Grizzly Giant Sequoia, and continued to the Upper Grove.
Although there was some tour with tram ride to the grove,
I prefer the easy/moderate hike in the forest to have a
closer look of these giant trees.
- Fall Color in Yosemite Valley
It's about the prime time of fall color in Yosemite
Valley. Driving along the Merced River in the Valley, I
could not resist to stop frequently to take pictures.
Unfortunately, we did not have too much time to stay late
since it's time to get back home.
